AUDUSD consolidates into new range after the RBA rate cut
AUDUSD faces choppy trading after a pivotal week for both currencies. The RBA’s 25 bps cut to 3.60% briefly lifted the Aussie but saw some reversals yesterday. Australian dollar extends gains after solid wage growth
Australia's wage growth posted a solid gain of 3.4% in Q2, unchanged from the first quarter. This comes a day after the RBA cut rates. In the US, CPI remained steady at 2.7% but the core rate jumped to 3.1% from 2.9% as US tariffs have made imports more expensive.
