Canadian Home Sales on Record Pace

Home sales in Canada continued to increase in February with new monthly sales records being set in Ontario and Quebec. In total, the Canadian Real Estate Association reported 36,275 homes were sold last month – a 44 percent increase from February 2009.

Despite the news, this is also the first evidence that the housing rebound in Canada could be slowing as the year-over-year gain is considerably less than that of the previous three months.
