Wall Street extends gains
US indices pushed to new highs yesterday despite some lacklustre data. UK shares rallied as the Bank of England kept rates unchanged while oil prices rose further.

The 55-day moving average, which has supported prices since October 10, has risen to 27,506 while trendline support is around the 27,200 level

US existing home sales fell 1.7% month-on-month in November, a much bigger drop than the 0.2% decline expected. The US Q3 GDP growth rate is not expected to be revised from the initial +2.1% reading.
