European Union chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier unveiled his first detailed vision of how talks with the U.K. will take shape.

Barnier’s draft negotiating mandate covers the main areas that need to be tackled by the two sides when discussions get under way after the British elections on June 8, and touches on the U.K.’s financial obligations, citizens’ rights and its border with Ireland.
