US Futures Flat Ahead of ECB

U.S. stock index futures pointed to a flat open on Thursday as traders eyed events in Europe, where the European Central Bank is holding a monetary policy meeting.

The ECB is expected to extend its bond buying program on Thursday, with ECB President Mario Draghi due to hold a news conference once the meeting wraps up.

In Europe, the pan-European Stoxx-600 index was around 0.1 percent higher on Thursday morning.
