The U.K. should take the opportunity in June to leave the “a very expensive club” – the European Union – a prominent business leader and pro-Brexit campaigner said.
John Mills, chairman of consumer products company, the JML Group, told CNBC that the “general direction of travel” in the European Union (EU) worried him.
“The EU is going to have to become much more federalized, much more centralized if the euro zone is to be kept in one piece and I do think this provides quite substantial threats to the U.K.” he said.
