Asian Equities Mixed on Oil and Growth Concerns

Asia stocks are headed for a mixed session on Wednesday, with Japan set to continue outperforming while oil and growth concerns weigh on the rest of the region.

Australia’s benchmark S&P ASX 200 index resumed its losses, down 0.1 percent, following Tuesday’s modest gains.

In earnings news, Commonwealth Bank of Australia rose 0.3 percent after posting a near 10 percent rise in cash profits for the July-September period and CSR rallied 3 percent after reporting a 48 percent rise first-half net profit.
