Fed and BOE Minutes in the Week Ahead

The Federal Reserve will release minutes from its April meeting at which the Federal Open Market Committee said it would cut bond buying as the economy picks up after winter weather slowed first-quarter growth.

U.S. existing home sales and purchases of new residences climbed in April, data may show.   The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee publishes the minutes of its May 7-8 meeting.

European Union and U.S. officials begin a fifth round of negotiations over a proposed trade pact.   EU voters start going to the polls in elections for the European Parliament.
