Associated Press Twitter Account Hacked with White House Blast Post

A tweet went out of the AP twitter account with the news that the White House had been attacked and U.S. president Obama was injured.

The markets reacted to that fake news mostly on emerging market assets. EUR/USD was mostly unfazed. Affected markets retreated to their previous levels after the AP confirmed that it was a bogus tweet.
