US Jobless Claims Fall Short of Expectations

The number of new claims for unemployment benefits for last week fell to 422,000 compared to the previous week’s 428,000. Despite the improvement, the actual number still fell short of the projected 415,000.

Looking ahead to tomorrow’s Non-Farm Payroll, predictions are that 150,000 jobs were created during May compared to the 244,000 created in April.
