Canadian Unemployment Recipients Unchanged

Statistics Canada announced today that the number of Canadian receiving unemployment benefits in April remained basically unchanged from the previous month. A total of 667,400 Canadians received unemployment benefits in May, a drop of 19.5 percent or 161,900 from the peal of 829,300 in June 2009.
